Forms of Hermès

Personal series built around the Hermès lipstick. Minimalist still life compositions exploring the brand’s recent product through color, shape and light. The iconic orange packaging makes us understand the subject immediately. Packshot photographs of the product inside the packaging are printed in large format, many times bigger than the actual product: the object is glorified, in a way it is an idea of the product that is represented, rather than the product itself. A visual game between the actual object and its photograph.
