Street Style / Still Life vol.2

Following Paris Women’s Fashion Week FW20, this series is a still life exploration inspired by street style. 

In this series, street style looks are brought to a new purely graphic shape. My idea was to highlight the look’s colors, shapes and textures. These visuals are mainly composed with flat materials (paper, transparent film, fabric). In some way, they could be compared to 3D generated graphics, even though the series is created exclusively through the medium of photography.

My wish for this project was to connect fashion and graphic art, as well as refer to constructivism and collage in a contemporary way. Addressing my cultural heritage has become an important part of my work.
