Winter Shapes
This new winter holiday series is built of abstract compositions, taking their primary inspiration in the circular shape of a classic Christmas bauble.
Different paper materials, that are used for greeting cards or gift wrapping, are arranged in geometric compositions, playing with light reflections and shadows. For some images, the strong shadow around the circles and the blue gray tint could make us think of the moon and its movement; also referring to the lunar year ending.
A silver texture lies on certain areas of the visual, like winter frost on a surface or confetti during a celebration.
